Tsinghua Shenzhen international Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS) places great importance on the Center of Double Helix (CDH) as a crucial element of Tsinghua's brand development strategy in the Greater Bay Area.  Leveraging the interdisciplinary nature of Tsinghua SIGS's '6+1' advantages and its extensive international school experience, CDH incorporates the innovative concept of Tsinghua Tsien Excellence talent training. Together, we aim to establish an interdisciplinary and open cross-disciplinary platform. CDH was officially launched on February 25, 2023, with the objective of exploring the double helix model for innovative collaboration of scientific research development, and talent training, from scratch to advanced stages, integrating the development of local original science and technology with high-level talent training, while also establishing an open cooperative ecosystem for the new science and technology industry. The establishment of CDH will facilitate the application of Tsinghua SIGS's interdisciplinary technology in various industries. It will support talent-led disruptive scientific and technological innovation and contribute to China's industrial transformation and upgrading strategy. CDH is currently situated in the Information Building and the International Building of Phase I at the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School. It encompasses over 700 square meters of space, including labs, conference rooms, and office areas.
