X-Seminar Series - Young Teacher Salon Session was held

On the morning of October 12th, the Center of Double Helix (CDH) at Tsinghua SIGS conducted the fourth session of the 'X-Seminar Series - Young Teachers Salon session' within Room 811 of the Information Building. The event featured a keynote address by Associate Professor Shuai Lu from the Future Habitat Institute, who spoke on 'Fostering Architectural Design through Architectural Technology.' Additionally, faculty members from the center of Double Helix were invited to present their research, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and innovation. The seminar was attended by nearly 50 faculty members and students from SIGS. The event was presided over by Kaichen Dong, the Deputy Director of the Double Helix Center.

The Center of Double Helix (CDH) is dedicated to advancing the dual objectives of scientific research innovation and talent cultivation through the double helix model. Its mission is to foster the seamless integration of indigenous scientific and technological advancements with the development of high-caliber talent, transitioning from inception to realization. The Young Teacher Salon serves as a practical platform to embody the ethos of the CDH. These salons are designed to be recurring events that establish an open forum for cross-innovation dialogue among young academics. The aim is to encourage comprehensive interaction and discourse across various fields of study, focusing on interdisciplinary collaboration and the practical application of technology. This initiative is instrumental in nurturing groundbreaking '0-1' innovations.
