董恺琛分别于2012年和2017年在清华大学精密仪器系获得学士和博士学位。2014-2016年作为联合培养博士生访问美国加州大学伯克利分校材料科学与工程系和劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室材料科学部。2017-2019年在清华大学精密仪器系任科研助理。2019-2022年在美国加州大学伯克利分校材料科学与工程系和劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室材料科学部从事博士后研究。他的主要研究兴趣为智能辐射控温技术、零功耗MEMS传感器、莫尔光子晶体、科学智能，在Science、Physical Review Letters、Advanced Materials、Science Advances、Nano Letters等期刊发表论文，并担任Nature Photonics、Joule、Advanced Materials、Nature Communications、IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices等期刊的审稿人。
